Afrofuturistic Visioning: A SoulCollage Retreat
Immerse yourself in the boundless realms of Afrofuturism– a cultural movement that reimagines past, present, and future through a Black cultural lens– with the expressive and therapeutic practice of SoulCollage– a creative outlet that combines intuition, imagery, and self-reflection to create a personal deck of collaged cards.
We will weave the physical and the metaphysical as we incorporate embodied practices to enhance the creation of our SoulCollage cards. Through guided meditations and visualization exercises, we will tap into our intuition and imagination to connect with our inner visionary selves. We will use movement, breathwork, and other embodied practices to deepen our connection to our visions and bring them into our collective conscious awareness. Join us for an immersive, therapeutic, and transformative journey into the world of Afrofuturistic Visioning!
This retreat is designed for Black folx who are drawn to the intersection of Afrofuturism and self-exploration. No prior knowledge or experience with either Afrofuturism is necessary. Likewise, whether you're new to SoulCollage or a seasoned practitioner, join us in this vibrant space.
